About the Practitioner

Jessica Alexander, Owner of JDA Massage, LMT, BS

My name is Jessica Diters-Alexander, owner of JDA Massage Therapy and Licensed Massage Therapist.  I received my massage training at North Country Community College in Saranac Lake, NY where I completed 1000 hours of course work, 250 hours of hands-on clinical training and graduated with an AAS degree in Massage Therapy in 2009.  After graduation, I worked at The Spa at The Whiteface Lodge performing various massage and spa treatments.  After some time, I decided to further my education and moved to Oswego, NY and graduated Cum Laude from SUNY Oswego in 2012 with a B.S. in Health and Wellness Management with a minor in Health Science.

I TRULY enjoy my work - I've always had a passion for helping people and performing massage gives me a great sense of gratification.  I believe that stress and stiff muscles can be contributing factors to much of the pain and discomfort that people feel.  By receiving massage, stretching, and performing range of motion work, many of these ailments can be alleviated.  I always tell people to think of their bodies as their cars - if you don't receive regular maintenance, things will start to malfunction and won't work up to their full potential.

Robert Alexander, Owner of Oswego Body Therapy, LMT

Hi!  Let me tell you a little about myself:
I am originally from a small town called Saranac in upstate New York.  I attended North Country Community College from 2007-2009, where I received an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Massage Therapy.

Over the last 10 years I have done a number of things, including practicing as an LMT for multiple years.  I took a break from massage and returned to school at SUNY Oswego to study Zoology, while working as a Veterinary Assistant at the Fruit Valley Vet Clinic.  I also started a family with my wife Jessica and bought a home.

In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, camping and hiking with my family and friends. I also enjoy woodworking, and renovating our lovely old home.

All of my adventures have now led me back to Massage Therapy and I could not be more happy and fulfilled.  Hope to see you soon for an appointment!

Fawn French, Owner of Joy Massage & Wellness, RYT-200, RMT, LMT

Hi there, my name is Fawn French and I am a licensed massage therapist, yoga instructor and Reiki Master. I began my journey into the world of holistic health at just 19 years old, becoming a Reiki practitioner in 2014 and a Reiki Master in 2017.  Following the calling to help people feel better and thrive, I then trained as a yoga instructor and achieved my RYT-200 certification in 2019.

I found that there was still something missing in my bodywork practice, and was inspired to learn massage therapy after taking a college course on that subject.  As a part of the last graduating class of Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage, I was awarded the title of Salutatorian of my class in 2021.  At the same time, I also became certified in Yin yoga and trauma-informed yoga.

I focus on integrating all aspects of my journey on the massage table, offering massage that integrates trigger point therapy and stretching techniques with relaxing Swedish strokes and energy work that make deep, tension releasing therapy feel like pampering. I also love teaching yoga that focuses on stretching and caring for the muscle groups that are at the root of clients’ discomfort while integrating the eight limbs of yoga for personal evolution. I am passionate about ensuring the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of my clients.
